AMY AMY AMY!
The Liquid Interactive team were honoured to take home three AMY Awards at the 23rd annual Awards event, hosted in Melbourne last Friday night by Digital + Technology Collective.
Formally the AIMIA awards (Australian Interactive Media Industry Association), these awards are regarded by our industry as the toughest and most prestigious digital awards in Australia.
For the 2018 awards, we were very excited to be going into the night as finalists in five diverse categories including:
- The AMY Award for Customer Engagement – Product
- The AMY Award for Customer Retention – Product
- The AMY Award for Education – Product
- The AMY Award for Healthy Living – Product
- The AMY Award for Collaboration
This year we entered the multi-award winning Ripple App project that we developed for the Australian Public Service Commission. Due to it’s remarkable customer engagement and retention results – where we were successful in achieving 70% daily engagement during the three month pilot.
We also entered ESSI Money which we developed for the Financial Basics Foundation and Suncorp. This is a highly regarded second generation financial literacy game, that has been running for over a decade, and is considered to be one of Australia's most successful financial literacy resources for school students.
Our other entry was for Head to Health, the national mental health gateway improving access to mental health support for all Australians. This was a huge project where we worked in a considerable co-design and collaboration process to design a solution that has been highly successful.
We’re very proud of all of this work so it was especially wonderful to receive three out of five awards we were in the running for, including:
- The AMY Award for Customer Engagement – Product: Ripple App for Australian Public Service Commission
- The AMY Award for Healthy Living – Product: Head to Health for Department of Health
- The AMY Award for Collaboration: Head to Health for Department of Health
The judge's provided some great comments about each of the projects. Head to Health was praised as a "good way to recognise a sensitive issue with a comprehensive approach that extended beyond digital to the GP waiting rooms as well", while the jurors felt that Ripple was "transformative, well developed and executed in response to a tough brief.”
Our remarkable success is built on almost twenty years of experience in designing, developing and delivering digital projects that support healthy living, education, marketing and behaviour change initiatives.
In particular, the award for collaboration is a wonderful acknowledgement of our work with our co-design and delivery partners. Large scale, whole of population digital projects are naturally complex to design, develop and deliver successfully. Usually with ambitious goals and objectives; such as improving people’s access to services and information in our community, changing behaviours and improving digital user experiences, they can involve many stakeholders and contrary points of view.
At Liquid we embrace these opportunities and we assemble diverse teams with specialised skills to address the detail required to solve a vast range of challenges that will allow us to deliver the right outcomes.
We want to thank and congratulate our client teams, co-design and delivery partners and our own Liquid team for a wonderful achievement and validation for our ongoing efforts.
